The ROOTS Noragi is a utilitarian Japanese-style work jacket featuring native "Lumad" handwoven fabrics from Mindanao, the designer’s homeland in the Philippines. "Lumad" is a Bisaya term meaning "native" or "born of the earth," used to collectively describe the non-Muslim, non-Christian indigenous groups of the region.

Designed by Psalm Alfafara, the ROOTS Noragi serves as a personal bridge to his homeland, showcasing the artistry of the heritage tribes that created the textiles used in this series.

This is a small-batch, artisanal item. Because each jacket is constructed from different sections of native textile, your garment will be a 1-of-1 original. Please note that the actual item will differ from the mockup, as each piece is uniquely individual.
